Irrespective of the intention behind, there is no questioning in the fact that it has bought happiness in the life of millions of indian citizens, especially the poor people.

Many analysts commented on Jio's strategy as "Predatory". While we respect their opinions, but will have to respectfully disagree on this fact. Reason is simple, competition is natural phenomenon in any sector and the level of competition keeps oscillating from weak to tough. If Jio had not posed this competition, someone else would have at some point of time.
We were really surprised when we heard the term "Predatory" in relation to Jio offers. How can one ignore the extent of benefits to common public!
The data charges as well as calling charges have drastically dropped, thanks to Jio.
Impact-3: Great Push to "Digital India Campaign"
What a perfect timing!! With the central government's push for "Digital India", many people thought it would take very long time while India's villagers learnt the required skills. Jio has not solved all the problems, but definitely has accelerated the pace with which digital India is being imbibed into indian public.

Look at the following 2 cases:
1) One of the local news channels in Maharashtra, was showing a group of farmers sitting under a tree and viewing the YouTube videos related to crop management. Imagine their smiles!!
