Reliance Jio is evaluating options to join the experts to bring out its own VR (Virtual Reality) application by end of 2018. Already, the Jio team has started visits and discussions with the experts from Birmingham University in London.
The directors of Jio Studio and MD of philmCGI were part of the team to visit the Birmingham city university and conducted series of discussions about the scope and future requirements including skill upgradation and training requirements for its workforce. "Today we have discussed a number of opportunities for collaboration. Lots of innovative solutions can be developed when applying fresh minds to companies such as ourselves," said Anand Bhanushali, the founder and MD of philmCGI.
