Should you recharge multiple Jio plans simultaneously?

Should you recharge multiple Jio plans simultaneously?

One of the brilliant strategies of Reliance Jio is to keep its users on toes with regular and attractive offers every now and then. This strategy has helped Jio to acquire decent number of users migrating from other networks to Jio. Sometimes, Jio starts bombarding few 'hard to believe' offers one after the other within a short span of time. This makes the users go crazy and confused to select among the available offers.

Under these scenarios, it is not uncommon to see the users recharging for multiple offers simultaneously, so that they don't miss out the new offer. With this process, the recharges get lined up in the order of their recharge and are available for use whenever they want. In fact, some offers can be activated simultaneously to enjoy both at a time.

Learn about the procedure to activate an upcoming plan from your MyJio application in our previous post (click here).

For example, let's say that a user has recharged for two offers, one which offers 1GB per day and other 2GB per day. In this case, the first recharged offer gets activated automatically but the second offer of 2GB will remain in the ' Upcoming Plans' section waiting in line to be activated. It will only get activated automatically when the first offer expires. If the user chooses to activate the second offer too simultaneously while the first offer is still active, he can do so by manually activating the second offer along with the first one. By doing so, the user will get 2GB data after daily 1GB limit from first offer is exhausted.

It is important to note that in this scenario, the validity period of second offer starts from the day of activating the plan. Also, we suggest not to recharge all the offers blindly as soon as you like it. The reason is simple, some offers defeat the purpose of other offers when recharged simultaneously. For example, let's say that you already have a 2GB data per day offer activated for 28 days at a charge of 198 Rs in your Jio number. After few days, let's say Jio announces a new offer of 2GB total valid for 28days at a charge of 98 Rs. You are not going to get much benefit from 2GB for 98 Rs, because already your are getting 2GB for just 7 Rupees. But, if the scenario is vice-versa, we would recommend you to go for it. All we are trying to say here is, don't go on recharging every new offer blindly, evaluate the cost and benefits before you take a dive.
