Best Recharge Plans for New JioPhone

The much awaited 4G phone from Reliance Jio is finally revealed with all the first hand details captured in our earlier post (Click here to read).

There is lot of confusion among the general public about this, so we want to clear the air with one topic at a time. In this post, we would like to discuss only about the available recharge plans for upcoming JioPhone. Stay tuned to our blog for more informative posts in coming days.

As per Mr. Mukesh Ambani, the owner of Reliance Jio, following plans are specifically created only for upcoming JioPhones.

1) Rs 153 Recharge Plan:

Recharging with this plan will give the JioPhone user a validity of 28 days with a daily usage limit of 500MB ( i.e 0.5GB). The speed will be reduced to 128 mbps post consuming this data. In addition to this, the users can enjoy unlimited local and STD calls and SMS to any networks in India.

2) Rs 23 Sachet Plan:

This is a short validity plan for those users who do not use the phones on daily basis or who do not want to use internet on daily basis.

This plan comes with a validity of only 2 days, but provides all the daily benefits mentioned in 153 plan for 2 days. This is best suitable for students, farmers and other general public who seldom use the internet on daily basis.

3) Rs 53 Sachet Plan:

This is also a short validity plan for those users who do not use the phones on daily basis or who do not want to use internet on daily basis.

This plan comes with a validity of only 7 days, but provides all the daily benefits mentioned in 153 plan for 7 days. This is best suitable for students, farmers and other general public who seldom use the internet on daily basis.

The above mentioned plans are created only for the JioPhones, but users can also opt for Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offers with a value of 309 and 509 Rs to enjoy greater data benefits.

JIOPHONE - INDIA KA SMARTPHONE

On the occasion of 40th Annual General Meeting, the owner of Reliance Jio, Mr. Mukesh Ambani announced the launch of its much awaited 4G feature phone, which is named as "JioPhone". Along with that the Telco has announced its cable TV device. Ambani, who had taken the telecom sector by surprise with free voice calls and data last year, announced the next leap at the company's 40th shareholder meeting.

Jio will offer its feature phone for a net effective price of Rs 0 ( That's right, Rupees Zero). Because, Jio will offer these phones with a refundable security deposit of Rs 1500, which will be refunded after three years upon returning the phone.

"Today, I am delighted to announce that JioPhone will be available to all Indians for an effective price of - Rs 0," said Mukesh Ambani amid thunderous applause from the shareholders. "A JioPhone user can use the JioPhone for 36 months, and can get a full refund of the security deposit of Rs 1,500 by returning the used JioPhone. Net-net, you pay nothing for the JioPhone," he added. 

The JioPhone also hosts several attractive features as listed below:

• Supports digital payment via NFC

• Supports 4G VoLTE for calls and data

Mukesh Ambani used the occasion to introduce his twin children, Akash and Isha, who presented the phone features that include calls and text messaging on voice command, Internet surfing and cable to connect the device to TV to view content, including videos.

"It is made in India by the young Indian," Esha Ambani told announcing the launch of the phone.

The phone, targeted at 50 crore feature phone users in the country, will be available for pre-booking from 24 August on payment of a refundable security deposit of Rs 1,500. "JioPhone will make the 2G feature phone obsolete," Ambani claimed, adding that the company is looking to bring 5 million phones to the market a week. The JioPhone will be available for user testing in beta mode from 15 August and for pre-booking from 24 August.

Users can either pay Rs. 153 per month, for which they will get free voice and SMS, and unlimited data (high-speed data FUP is 500MB per day), along with Jio apps. They can also choose to pay Rs. 309 per month to get all this, plus the support for mirroring your screen on a TV, via a cable that can even be plugged into CRT TVs. After three years, you can return the phone, and get a full refund on the deposit. Aside from that, the company will also have two sachet packs, at Rs. 24 for two days, or Rs. 54 per week, for users who don't want to commit to Rs. 153 as an upfront payment.

New Recharge Plans from Jio

Recently, Jio has introduced some new plans and has revised few previous plans both in prepaid and postpaid section. The changes listed below are in comparison with the previous recharge plans as detailed in our earlier post (Click here).

NEW PRE-PAID PLANS:

Rs 349 Plan:
With a validity of 56 days, this plan provides the user with a 20 GB 4G data without any daily limits. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of this 20GB data, the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

Rs 399 Plan:
With a validity of 84 days, this plan provides the user with a total of 84 GB of 4G data with a daily limit of 1 GB. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of daily usage limit , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

REVISED EARLIER PRE-PAID PLANS:

Rs 309 Plan:
Now, this plan comes with a validity of 56 days. A total of 56 GB will be provided with a daily cap of 1 GB. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of daily usage limit , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.


Rs 509 Plan:
Now, this plan comes with a validity of 56 days, this plan provides the user with a total of 112 GB of 4G data with a daily limit of 2 GB. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of daily usage limit , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

Rs 999 Plan:
Now, this plan comes with a validity of 90 days, this plan provides the user with a total of 90 GB of 4G data without any daily usage limit. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of available data , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

Rs 1999 Plan:
Now, this plan comes with a validity of 120 days, this plan provides the user with a total of 155 GB of 4G data without any daily usage limit. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of available data , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

Rs 4999 Plan:
Now, this plan comes with a validity of 210 days, this plan provides the user with a total of 380 GB of 4G data without any daily usage limit. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of available data , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

Rs 9999 Plan:
Now, this plan comes with a validity of 390 days, this plan provides the user with a total of 780 GB of 4G data without any daily usage limit. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of available data , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

With a validity of 2 months, this plan provides the user with a 20 GB 4G data without any daily limits. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of this 20GB data, the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

Rs 399 Plan:
With a validity of 3 months, this plan provides the user with a total of 90 GB of 4G data with a daily limit of 1 GB. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of daily usage limit , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

Now, this plan comes with a validity of 2 months. A total of 60 GB will be provided with a daily cap of 1 GB. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of daily usage limit , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

Rs 509 Plan:
Now, this plan comes with a validity of 2 months. A total of 120 GB will be provided with a daily cap of 2 GB. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of daily usage limit , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.

Rs 999 Plan:
Now, this plan comes with a validity of 2 months. A total of 90 GB will be provided without any daily usage limit. This comes along with free voice calling and SMS service. Post consumption of daily usage limit , the speed will be reduced to 128 mbps.
