How to remove or delete a Jio Link Account in MyJio app?

Jio link accounts is a beautiful and user-friendly feature available in MyJio application to manage multiple Jio SIM accounts from a single login. For detailed information about Jio link accounts, please read our earlier post "What is Jio Link Account with Pros and Cons(Click Here)". Having multiple linked accounts makes it easy to monitor all accounts from a single login. However, you might have to consider removing an existing link account, if the Jio SIM has been transferred to other networks or if its usage is stopped for any reason.

In one of our previous post(click here), we explained how to add a new Jio Link account, but in this post we will only discuss about how to remove an existing link account in MyJio app.

Procedure to remove or delete a new link account is as follows:

Step-1:

Login to MyJio app with the appropriate credentials of the account to which new link accounts to be added. On the main home page, click on the "more options" button indicated in the form of three small horizontal lines at the top left corner.

Step-2:

Click on the last option "Settings".

Step-3:

Click on the option "Manage Account" as shown below.

Step-5:

In the new page, you will find the main base account and already linked accounts ( if any). Now you will have to just click on the delete button located against the link account number which is to be removed. The delete button is in the form of Recycle Bin as shown in below image.

Step-6:

A confirmatory message will be displayed requesting to confirm your request to delete the link account. Click "Remove" to proceed or click on "Cancel" to go back.

Step-7:

Once the step-6 is complete, your requested link account will be deleted immediately. You can verify the same in "Manage Accounts" screen and confirm that your link account has been deleted.

Even if you delete a wrong link account by mistake, don't worry, you can easily add it back by following the procedure detailed in our post "How to add a new Jio Link Account (click here)".
