Jio link accounts is a beautiful and user-friendly
feature available in MyJio application to manage multiple Jio SIM accounts with a single login. For detailed information about Jio link accounts, please read
our earlier post "What is Jio Link Account with Pros and Cons(Click Here)".
In this post, we will explain the step by step
procedure to add a new link account to a given Jio number by using the MyJio
application. Before going ahead, we suggest that you have access to the Jio SIM
to be added in a phone ( to receive OTP) or else you should have access to the
alternate number registered with the Jio number to be added. Because, OTP will
be sent to both these numbers. If you have lost the alternate number, you can
easily change the alternate number of a Jio SIM by following the procedure as
detailed in our post "How to change the Jio alternate number? (Click Here)". Proceed to the below procedure once above requirements are ready
to receive OTP.
Procedure to add a new link account:
Step-1:
Login to MyJio app with the appropriate credentials of
the account to which new link accounts to be added. On the main home page,
click on the "more options" button indicated in the form of three
small horizontal lines at the top left corner.
Step-2:
Click on the last option "Settings".
Step-3:
Click on the option "Manage Account" as shown below.
Step-4:
In the new page, you will find the main base account and already linked accounts ( if any). No click on the "Link a new account" button located at the bottom.
Step-5:
You will see a new screen with 3 options to select among Mobile / Jiofi / Jiofiber. Select the appropriate number which needs to be linked.
In the new screen, you will find options to link the Jio numbers registered with your Adhaar number and also the option to link any new Jio number. If you are linking your own additional Jio number, just select the listed numbers and click "Get OTP" button at the bottom. In case, you want to link to any other Jio number, enter the Jio number to be linked and click on "Get OTP" button.
Step-7:
A new screen will be displayed with a message saying
that OTP has been sent to the alternate number of Jio SIM with part of the
number displayed with hidden characters.
Enter the OTP received and click on the
"Submit" button at the bottom of screen.
Step-8:
That should complete the process of adding a new link
account and a success message will be displayed. Click Ok to proceed.
Step-9:
Go back to "Manage Accounts" to verify that
the new number is listed in the link accounts.
Now, you can monitor all the useful details of new
link account from one login.

not require access to OTP.
