To manage all the SIM cards, Jio has provided a very
user friendly and attractive feature in its famous MyJio application, which
acts as one platform for all Jio requirements.
What is a "Link Account" in MyJio
application?
To start using MyJio app, a given user must login with
any of the Jio number by entering appropriate login credentials. This will be
considered in MyJio app as the Basic Account. In the same account, we can add
several Jio numbers to monitor from one platform, instead of logging in with
different credentials. These additional numbers will be called a Link Account.
What kind of information can be monitored through Jio
Link Accounts?
Most of the everyday used details can be monitored.
Below listed details can be monitored like:
Remaining Data Balance
Data, Call and SMS usage
Call history Details
Recharge history
Voucher Transaction History
Active plan details with expiry info
Upcoming plan details with expiry info
Data Usage alert details
Advantages (Pros) of Jio Link Accounts:
As explained before, it will be cumbersome to login
each time with different credentials to know the details of individual SIM
cards. You will be spared with the need to remember all the login credentials
too. If you link all your SIM numbers as link accounts, then you can easily
monitor the information of all SIM cards in one go.
Disadvantages ( Cons) of Jio Link Accounts:
There are no major disadvantages if link accounts
handled properly. However, few users might find it confusing if they start
interlinking multiple accounts with all Jio numbers. Also, if you start using
the link accounts, you might forget the login credentials of other numbers,
since you seldom use the details to login. It is better to write down the
details somewhere, though you can always recover the account by resetting it.
