Reliance Jio could be planning for its next big surprise bonanza offer in the form of fibre to the home (FTTH) broadband service, nicknamed "JioFiber". The company has been testing the home broadband service for some time now under the offer called as "JioFiber Preview Offer". As part of beta testing campaign, Reliance Jio has begun offering FTTH broadband connections with 1.1TB of free data at speed of 100Mbps in select markets in the country.

JioFiber is the latest offering from Jio for the homes. Jio offers superior internet experience to explore your Digital Life. Fiber is the technology of the future. It offers the ultimate broadband experience to surf, stream, game and work. JioFiber beats the rest because of its ultra fast upload and download speeds & effective functioning in merely 'milli seconds'. It's like a high speed private internet highway right inside your home.

Under the "JioFiber Preview Offer", users get ultra high-speed internet up to 100Mbps for 90 days along with a monthly data quota of 100 GB and a complimentary access to a host of Jio's premium apps. In case, users consume 100 GB of data quota within a month, they can continue to enjoy the high speed internet services by performing a complimentary data top-up of 40 GB via MyJio App or through Jio.com.

As this is a preview offer, there are no installation charges levied but there is a refundable security deposit of Rs.4,500 taken for the ONT device (GigaHub Home Gateway). This amount is to be paid through a cheque in favor of 'Reliance Retail Limited'. The deposit will be refunded if you choose to discontinue using the JioFiber services, provided the installed devices are returned in good and working condition.

Reliance Jio recently confirmed that it has begun trials for enterprise solutions, fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and the Internet of Things (IoT) services in the country. The company’s FTTH offer is seen as the next big disruption in India’s broadband data consumption and could affect service providers including Bharti Airtel and state-owned MTNL as well as BSNL in select markets.

“The company continues to make progress for delivering Enterprise solutions, FTTH and IoT with beta trials initiated in a few locations. These services are being offered using the same integrated network and platforms,” the Mukesh Ambani-led company said in a statement.

  1. I am really loving the theme/design of your blog. Do you ever run into any web
browser compatibility issues? A small number of my blog readers have complained
about my site not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera.
Do you have any suggestions to help fix this problem?
